YOUPrison This installation was commissioned by Francesco Bonami, curator of Foundazione Sandretto re Rebaudengo in Torino. The work was the culmination of an eight-month research on the relevance of manufacturing in China and its impact to the world at large, where China begins to sell ideologies to the world, not simply just satiating the world’s appetite for cheap manufactured goods. This satire was played out in the entire ecology of the manufacturing process of this project, including the marketing of the products, its packaging and the even the descriptions carried by the exhibition catalog.
