Art and China after 1989: Theater of the World

SKEW Collaborative's project, Jia Little Exhibition Hall and Ateliers in Songjiang was the site of a seminal exhibition by a self-curating artsts collective. This exhibition was featured at the "Art and China after 1989: Theater of the World" show at the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, as part of the Shanghai Contemporary Art Archive Project.

SKEW Collaborative has been invited to participate in the 2017 UABB, where we will be expanding our research on “The Other Factory” to include research on both the Yangtze and Pearl River Deltas, focusing on the particular industrial histories and potentials of Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen.
